This is my family, circa 1963. My mom's name was Mary Therese, but she was known as Therese to most, Tess to a few and Mimi to my kids. She was born January 16, 1929 and she passed away March 13, 1996. It's amazing how close Mom and I got as I got older and had my own family. She had a hard life: death of a sister in a fire, parents killed in car accident, early marriage that ended in death of her husband and unborn child, and numerous health problems. She never complained one iota. If I have half of her courage, I will be so lucky. \
In this picture, you can see my mom and Dad, my sister Marcia was just a baby, and the cute one (!) is me at age three.
