I've been sitting back this last week listening to the many points of view offered and I've come to the conclusion that americans are naive...

"Life as we know it will change"... doubtful, this is not the Berlin wall falling or Mt. Vesuvius errupting.

"Now that this can happen...." No... now that we RECOGNIZE that this can happen, it was always able to but we in our comfy little world never imagined it would.

"Let's build a monument, light candles, get a tattoo, bomb the fuck out of 'them'" OK, go ahead, jump on the bandwagon... there is much support and comfort on a bandwagon. But in the back of our minds lets keep the knowledge that in a decade this won't be a question on our children's history tests.

This too shall pass.
